Adaptacion al cine del video game Alone in the Dark. Ya se esta por estrenar
en USA. El director es el aleman Uwe Boll (House of the Dead) y los protagonistas
son Christian Slater y Tara Reid.

Les paso la sinopsis:

Edward Carnby (Slater), detective of the paranormal, unexplained and supernatural, investigates a mystery (the recent death of a friend) with clues leading to "Shadow Island" that brings him face to face with bizarre horrors that prove both psychologically disturbing and lethal, as he discovers that evil demons worshiped by an ancient culture called the Abskani are planning on coming back to life in the 21st century to once again take over the world... and only he and a young genius anthropologist with an incredible memory (and his ex-girlfriend), Aline Cedrac (Reid), stand in their way, at a gateway to hell. Standing in Carnby's way, however, is the impact that a brief encounter with an evil spirit called the Queen had upon his mind, as he slowly finds himself overpowered by the forces of darkness as they eat away at his very sanity...

Hace como año y medio había visto el trailer, pensé que ya se había estrenado en USA sin pena ni gloria. La verdad le tengo tan poca fe, los 3 primeros juegos eran una gloria, pero nose, es como que no daban para cine, el 4 es sólo una copia barata de Resident Evil.

Yo recién me vengo a enterar que sale la peli de Alone In the Dark.
Bueno, el director mmmm... no ví house of the dead, pero me hablaron maaaaal
Sinceramente en a lo que adaptaciones de Games a Pelis concierne.. el año que viene se estrana lo más groso que existe.. la peli de Silent Hill.. creo que ya lo posteé en otro lado.

los 3 primeros juegos eran una gloria, pero nose, es como que no daban para cine, el 4 es sólo una copia barata de Resident Evil.

tal cual!! de hecho, el Alone in the Dark 4 ni lo terminé todavía (hace como 2 años que lo tengo) porque me pareció una basura que se quizo asemejar al estilo survivor horror de RE, que por cierto, es otro juego que amo, mil veces más que AitD

¿Está basado en el Alone in the Dark 1, 2, 3 o 4?
Recordemos que los estilos de los cuatro son muy distintos.
Si está basado en el 1, seguramente tendrá elementos Lovecraft
(recordemos que el Alone original está basado en escritos de H.P. Lovecraft, más precisamente en La Llamada de Cthulhu)
