The Super Saturday List For Comic-Con Is Out

By Melissa Molina on July 10, 2010
This is the one day where the comics and films align properly at Comic-Con, mainly because you get the Marvel and DC presentations of their upcoming features. That's right, this is the awesome Saturday schedule for Comic-Con, and it's about time.

Need your fix of the "Green Lantern"? Well it depends on what kind of medium you want the DC creation in. Of course you can attend the massive Warner Bros Pictures panel that not only shows off "Green Lantern" but Zack Snyder's "Sucker Punch" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". If you want it more along the comic sector, then you can go to panels like Green Lantern: Emerald Empire.

That's not the only thing that DC is dishing out. Man, you look at this list for Saturday and you think that DC has complete dominance at least animated and comic-wise on the Con. They're doing a showcase on their new animated shorts that include "Jonah Hex", "Green Arrow" and "Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam". The DC Talent Search is still going on that Saturday with a panel focused on "Shazam! The Golden Age of the World's Mightiest Mortal".

Don't think that Marvel is going to take this sitting down. On the animated front they've got a panel for "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes". Then of course their is the annual "Cup O' Joe" where you can talk to/yell at Joe Quesada about what's going on in the Marvel universe.

What's Saturday without a Marvel feature showcase? They once again dominate a part of your afternoon with their new projects "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger". They tend to show at least a little bit of one of the two productions they always bring to the Con, so does that mean we'll get a first trailer for "Thor"? Let's hope so (I want it now).

There's always a small amount of horror lurking in the halls of the convention center. That's why there should be no surprise that Overture's "Let Me In" and Paul W.S. Anderson's "Resident Evil: Afterlife" have their own panels at random parts of the day.

Also, a random note for you all who are "Scott Pilgrim" junkies like myself, Bryan Lee O'Malley is holding a panel that discusses "Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour". So if you have any questions in regards to anything on "Scott Pilgrim" the comic, then definitely check that sucker out (I probably will).

On the television front there's panels going on for "Fringe", "Family Guy", "The Simpsons", "Chuck", "Futurama", "The Venture Bros" and the ABC series "V". Basically if you're a TV junkie you have a lot of panels to check out.

What better way to end your Saturday than by hearing Kevin Smith answer all sorts of random questions from the fans in the crowded Hall H? Well, kind of end your Saturday. Don't forget there's the annual Masquerade where fans get to show off in costume/skit form what they've been doing for the past year.

    1-Warner Bros: Green Lantern Movie
    2-Showcase

3-Batman Under the red hood (porque supongo que acá van a anunciar los prox. DVDs)
4-Batman The Brave and The Bold
    5-Smallville
    6-Marvel Studios Cap y Thor
7-los paneles de comics de DC
8-Mattel (por la linia Master of the Universe classic)
