Thor Gets His Own Game

The Marvel Icon gets his first starring role on all platforms.

Today SEGA announced that Thor, a popular Marvel comic book character, will star in his own videogame in 2011. Thor: The Video Game will appear on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, and DS.

So far we know that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 games will feature third-person action gameplay in which the Norse God must save the city of Asgard by pummeling his opponents with his legendary hammer. The Wii, DS, and PSP versions of the game will be "uniquely suited" to each platform.

The game should coincide with Thor's arrival in theaters next year. We got our first look at some stills from the film last week which highlighted Anthony Hopkins as the character Odin. You can bet we'll hear even more about both the game and the movie next week at San Diego Comicon. Stay tuned.

Creo que se trata de una excelente noticia, más si el juego se basa lo menos posible en la película (todos sabemos que por lo general, los juegos que se sacan para aprovechar el éxito de un film no son que digamos muy bueno...).

No sé por qué, me suena como el juego de El Señor de los Anillos. Y no es que no me guste...

No es por tirar mala onda,pero...probablemente sea una garompa ...por dos cosas: lo que ya dijo Hell´s Visitor (siempre es asi con los juegos basados en peliculas),y porque lo hace Sega, que ya hizo el de Hulk basado en la peli de Leterrier, Iron Man 1 y 2; y seguramente el de Captain America: The First Avenger...

Pero los de Iron Man no estaban buenos?

Ojala que no este basado en la peli, primero porque te spoileas, y segundo para tener mas libertad.
Igual por la descripcion que hicieron me parece que no va a tener tanto que ver con la peli.

Los Ironman son buenos de graficos pero muy lineales, el Hulk se hace repetitivo, con estos dos personajes tienen mucho y buen material para un buen juego, a ver que sacan; yu a ver si se confirma el del capi, que le tengo ganas a un buen juego del alitas
