The events on DC's new 52 was set in motion by what took place in Geoff Johns' Flashpoint series. The story centers around Barry Allen with help from Bruce Wayne's father Thomas. While talking with Comic Book Club Kevin Conroy revealed that he is currently working on a Flashpoint DC Animated movie. "Oh I just, just last night, I recording a new animated movie...that features The Flash, it's more about The Flash, but Batman is in it as well. It's a Flash...Flashpoint! Flashpoint? I think it's Flashpoint," said the famous voice actor. There were no additional details given about the project, but be on the look out for the announcement soon.

Flashpoint was released in 2011 and was written by Geoff Johns with art done by Andy Kubert. The story shows The Flash(Barry Allen) waking up in an alternate time, where nothing seems to be right his mother is alive, his father is dead, there is no Superman or Justice League, and Citizen Cold is Central City's greatest hero. After discovering that Reverse Flash is behind everything The Flash enlists the help of Batman(Thomas Wayne) to help him set the events of time right. While doing this Flash meets a mystrious hooded figure who urges him to merge the DC, Vertigo, and Wildstorm universe creating DC's New 52. No word yet on when the official announcement will come or how faithfully it will follow the comic books, but make sure you check here at CBM for the latest.

Soy quien cree que no es una saga digna para un relanzamiento, no es Crisis, ni esta al nivel epido de sagas actuales como Blackest Night que involucran en lucha a un entero DCU, me indigna pensar que los heroes que leimos tanto tiempo llegaron a su fin sin siquiera enterarce, sin vivir la llegada del fin y sin luchar...


asi y todo me parece una linda historia con sus momentos emotivos, una linda historia "de Flash", y me parece que estaria muy bueno ver esto animado, hace falta engrosar a Flash, y que el publico masivo sepa hoy quien es Zoom como muchos ya conocen a Sinestro...

Flashpoint. The alternate DC Comics history that reshaped the DC Universe and led to the DC Relaunch and the New 52 last year.
And now, it appears, to be the next DC Direct-To-DVD movie, according to Kevin Conroy who commonly plays Batman in such animations, and recorded his role in the new movie the other night…

Coincido 100% en esto. Más aún porque no se necesita mucha intro para entender la historia. Me parece una buena manera de poner la spotlight sobre Flash.

Por otro lado, por ahi una Crisis Infinita hubiera sido buena... Crisis en tierras infinitas, da más para dos pelis y no sé si alcanza

Lo que pasa es que pasa Infinite Crisis necesitas un gran back up de lo que sucedió antes y que ahora desencadena en esto. Por el lado de Flashpoint, como no es una saga de la de la lora, y lo necesario para el back up es casi nada, va como piña
