Wolverine and the X-Men - Nueva serie animada

NEW X-MEN ANIMATED SERIES IN 2007 According to reports in Variety and a handful of Indian newspapers, a new X-Men animated series is on the horizon, scheduled for a summer 2007 debut.

The series will see Marvel team with Indian animation studio, First Serve Toonz, a joint venture between tennis star Vijay Amritraj’s First Serve International and Toonz Animation India Pvt. Ltd, whose CEO is P. Jayakumar,

First Serve Toonz has already begun production on 26 episodes while will combine 2D and 3D animation. The series will center on Wolverine. Both Marvel and First Serve will oversee the creative direction of the series; FST will manage international and television and DVD distribution, while Marvel will retain the distribution rights in the US, and a relationship similar to that between Marvel and France’s Antefilms, which is producing an animated Fantastic Four series.

“X-Men is one of Marvel’s crown jewels, and it makes sense to focus on the popular Wolverine character for our second animation project,” Marvel’s Avi Arad said in a release. “First Serve Toonz, one of the leading animation houses in the Indian animation market, was a natural choice for our first animation partnership in this creative and talent rich market.

Bruno Maglione, president of Marvel International added: “This is another step in Marvel’s strategy to team with leading animation production houses around the world in order to add a powerful TV animation plank to the coordinated multi-media promotion platform for our character franchises.”

“We are excited about our production deal with Marvel - a cutting edge global leader in children’s entertainment. Kids everywhere love the rough-edged and rebellious Wolverine character, and the X-Men franchise brings a range of themes and characters that appeal to a global audience. This will be a groundbreaking deal for the Indian entertainment industry,” Jayakumar said.

The project will be officially announced by Arad and FST chief executive Ed Borgerding at the annual Mipcom TV trade show in Cannes.

The new series will be the third take on the X-Men in animated form, following the inital animated series which ran from 1992-1997 on Fox for 76 episodes; and X-Men: Evolution, which ran for four seasons (52 episodes) beginning in 2000 on Kids WB, ending in 2003. X3, the third X-Men feature film is currently filming and due in theaters in May of 2006.

Aunque enrealidad pienso que lo que van a hacer es tomar X-MEN 3 como iniciativa y apareceran los personajes de la pelicula , ICEMAN , ANGEL etc,

Hay que esperar imagenes para darle un mejor punto de vista

No sé, X-Men Evolution la esperé con ansias y fue flor de fiasco. El Spider-Man de Mtv, tuvo algunos capítulos más o menos buenos, pero no me gustó mucho tampoco. Así que cuando esta salga la voy a mirar a ver que tal, espero que me sorprenda, pero definitivamente no la voy a estar esperando ansioso.

Evolution es patetica. La serie de Spiderman en 3D tambien dejo bastante que desear. Si llegan a tener esa onda no creo que la vaya a ver ni a palos.
Seria tiempo que le den cabida a otros personajes, en vez de andar cambiando los formatos.

Ah, y encima, obvio, su empresa es la eleccion natural. Como no lo va a ser si domina el hipercompetitivo mercado indio? Ya me imagino a Wolverine jugando al criquet y matando paquistanies...






Eso si, si llega a estar buena la serie, no dije nada...

Nose... X-men tiene algo que hace sus series... un poko... nose como explicarlo.
Evolution estubo un poko bueno, unos cuantos capitulos fueron muy buenos, otros dieron lastima, como la primera vieja serie, tambien lo mismo

la animacion norteamericana esta en una seria crisis, no saben como hacer para innovar cuando les saldrian mucho mejor las cosas, si se centrasen en hacer la vieja animacion de los 90s que gustaba mucho.
la onda cuadradoide con ojos grandes al estilo anime (que no les sale bien ni por joda, no entienden que los ojos no estan de adorno sino qeumuestran emociones) es muy monotona

y si es tipo 3d un fiasco peor aun, la animacion de spider era malisima
no me quiero imaginar lo que va a ser el pelo 3d de logan,

Coincido con lo dicho con SAGA, los yanquis se vienen complicando con este tema al pedo, hay ejemplos que demuestran que se puede hacer cosas de gran calidad sin tener que depender de los efectos 3D en su mayoria como fueron Samurai Jack y Clone Wars.

La serie X-men Evolution en cuanto a animación no me parecio mala, el verdadero problema fueron los guiones que dejaban mucho que desear salvo por algunos episodios rescatables como los de la historia de Apocalipsis.

Marvel experimento con distintas animaciones para sus series y en la mayoria de los casos no les fue muy bien, en vez de experimentar tenia que haberse dedicado a afianzar y mejorar las animaciones que empleo con la serie de x-men original de los 90.

Otra serie que les puede salir para el diablo es Ultimates que la estrenan en febrero, todavia no se bien como es el tema de la animación de esta serie, pero como hasta ahora hay muy poca data disponible y las unicas publicidades que mostraron fueron unas imagenes hechas por Hitch me da que pensar.

ehhh, a mi me gusto molto xmen evolution, asi que bueh, esta no la espero con ganas, pero seguro que la terminare viendo

y ya que estamos, nadie tiene por ahi dando vueltas xmen evolution en dvd?
