    #1 Compartir Impresora Hp 692C con Samba a Windows

    Basicamente es eso, tengo un servidor Linux, donde corre, FTP - SSH - WEB y ahora le estoy agragando una impresora (HP DeskJet 692C).
    El servidor corre un Debian Woody, si mal no recuerdo es la 3.0 la versión antieriro a la ultima que salió en septiembre último.
    Osea tiene le Kernel mismo etc etc etc.

    Le instale el djtools que según lo que encontre gestiona las impresoras HP.

    Y despues corri:

    #hpset -o lp0 test
    y funciono perfecto.

    despues como otra prueba tie un ls| lpr.
    Y tambien me lo imprimio a la perfección.
    pero segun lo que encontre acá:

    http://www.insflug.org/COMOs/Samba-C...ba-Como-8.html

    Configuere el SAMBA (2.2.3a-13) segunlo que encontre ahi pero hay una pestaña que dice al final

    [ljet]
    security = server
    path = /var/spool/lpd/lp
    printer name = lp
    writable = yes
    public = yes
    printable = yes
    print command = lpr -r -h -P %p %s

    ¡Asegúrate de que el 'path' de la impresora (en este caso bajo [ljet]) se corresponde al directorio de 'spool' en /etc/printcap!
    pero el tema que printcap no lo tengo!!! :S

    Si alguno sabe como hacer para conpartirla
    Desde ya muchas gracias!

    exacto, por que no tenes lprng, uno de los tanto que usa printcap, lo que tenes que hacer es decirle a samba que para imprimir use djtools, por lo que te recomiendo hacer caso omiso de esas lineas y usar las que trae comentadas el samba, pero antes que nada, buscar el string printing y agregarle djtools.

    fin

    Castellano por favor!

    Para aprobar deben contestar bien y de forma completa las 3 preguntas

    1. ¿Cómo le digo a Samba que use djtools?
    2. ¿Cuales son las que trae comentadas Samba?
    3. ¿Donde se encuentra string priting? ¿Cómo le agrego el djtools?

    Perdón pero no entiendo

    Adjunto el Samba.conf

    #
    # Sample configuration file for the Samba suite for Debian GNU/Linux.
    #
    # $Id: smb.conf,v 1.2.4.6 2002/03/13 18:56:16 peloy Exp $
    #
    # This is the main Samba configuration file. You should read the
    # smb.conf(5) manual page in order to understand the options listed
    # here. Samba has a huge number of configurable options most of which
    # are not shown in this example
    #
    # Any line which starts with a ; (semi-colon) or a # (hash)
    # is a comment and is ignored. In this example we will use a #
    # for commentary and a ; for parts of the config file that you
    # may wish to enable
    #
    # NOTE: Whenever you modify this file you should run the command
    # "testparm" to check that you have not many any basic syntactic
    # errors.
