mi xorg.conf no muestra drivers de video

Hola, querñia preguntar si esto es común.
Yo usaba ubuntu 9.04 hasta que tuve un problema (al parecer de modo grñafico) y no arrancó más. Reconfigure desde el modo recovery mode el xorg.conf de muchas formas, pero ninguna funcionó. Finalmente terminó todo con un "ERROR 15" al perderse el menu.lst :P
En fin, terminé sacando esa distribución y reinstalé la 8.04
Por curiosidad ando revisando algunos archivos y encuentro que mi xorg.conf es este:

Como verán no hay driver ni busID para la placa de video, lo que me llama la atención.
El sistema no me esta dando ningún prblema, pero quiciera saber si esto es normal
