Hello guys, my name is Walter. Im from Guatemala and I have been learning English by my own, in a self taught way. I started to learn it like a year and a half ago. but I have realized that I need practice my spoken skill, in order to be more fluently when it comes to speaking. it's really great that you are trying to find a way to practice the language, as it is really hard to do it if you are not part of a class or immersed in the culture. my nickname is jason, and i'm from argentina. I cannot help you practice your speaking since I have no access to skipe but at least i'm really sure we can practice the writing and reading skills.
Hope we can keep in touh and keep on practicing!!!! and I hope that many more people get involved in this way of learning! -

Hola, yo también quiero practicar, y me parece un buen modo de practicar el enviarnos mails en ingles contándonos cosas o planteando temas variados...Me parece una buena manera de tener un ingles mas fluido; y no tengo ni cámara ni micrófono para poder usar el skype de la manera en la que vos queres...
