I prefer the Btitish inglish becouse it's easier of understanding. The britishs have a better pronunciation than the americans.

I like both; however, when it comes to correctness I prefer British. As regards pronunciation I do not beleive British people are easier to understand; they are more conservative. Moreover, American people have a more understandable pronunciation. But, sure, it depends on each person. Greetings!

I choose American one. British english sounds good, but american is more like normal, I mean, It's more like we speak here spanish. We don't say "vosotros sois unos estupidos". We say "son una manga de pelotudos"... I don't know if I'm clear...

    Hi...

Personally, I'm really into phonetics so I enjoy all pronunciations, but I prefer British in general, especially the accents from the North of England such as the ones from Manchester or Sheffield. I love the Scotish one, too. But my personal favourite (may be or /mai bi/ - as they would pronounce it - because to me it's kind of difficult to imitate) is the Australian one... BRILLIANT!

I don't mind American accent... but it's not sth that's ever called my attention so much. And I believe that it's not that American accent is easier to understand than the British one, but that we're more used to listening to it.

    Cheers!

    British english rules.
American is easier to understand I guess - but if you talk to some well-educated brit you won't have any problem. Don't try Mr. Mc Cartney he's so Liverpool hehe.
I believe we all study british english here in Argentina, at least that was always the case in my time (some time ago )

Into Phonetics? And from Bernal like me a few months ago!!! I love phonetics, Lady. I kept Daniel Jones dictionary with me for a looong time. I borrowed it from La Plata University library and I had to renew it like a zillion times until... well I quit

    Still miss it!
