British english rules.
American is easier to understand I guess - but if you talk to some well-educated brit you won't have any problem. Don't try Mr. Mc Cartney he's so Liverpool hehe.

Personally, I'm really into phonetics so I enjoy all pronunciations, but I prefer British in general, especially the accents from the North of England such as the ones from Manchester or Sheffield.
Into Phonetics? And from Bernal like me a few months ago!!! I love phonetics, Lady. I kept Daniel Jones dictionary with me for a looong time. I borrowed it from La Plata University library and I had to renew it like a zillion times until... well I quit
