Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Test Released - Wednesday Apr 23 23:25:35 2003 - [posted by AlKini]
Activision et. al. have released a test version of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory to the public as we previously reported was going to happen. I've been testing the game as much as I could in the private beta (which still wasn't as much "testing" as I would have liked) and I've been enjoying it. The covert ops and new weapons are nice additions as are the new campaign mode and skill level concept. The official announcement (as pulled from Shacknews):
This is a TEST and players may find compatibility and performance issues that will be addressed before the final release. The purpose of this test is to report these issues so that we can address them prior to the release of the game. Players should also understand that the system requirements listed below are very close to what we expect in the release version. You can help us out by reporting any problems you experience with the Multiplayer TEST to us. So, if you have any questions, comments, or find bugs, please e-mail etbugs@idsoftware.com or visit us at http://www.castlewolfenstein.com.
I'm not sure if we Linux users should submit bugs to that same address or a Linux-specific one, so I'll see what I can get from TTimo.
