En esta ocasión les quiero comentar hacerca del mundillo de los PlugComputers.
Un PlugComputer básicamente es un pequeño (similar a un cargador de celular) computador que se enchufa directamente a la toma de corriente y está listo para operar ,tiene un costo bajísimo (a partir de los 100 USD). Esto es un mercado recien emergente y hay muy poca sino nula información de ellos en la red.
Hace poco tiempo adquiri uno (www.globalscaletechnologies.com) para utilizarlo como NAT, y servidor torrent en mi casa, el modelo que adquirí es un Guruplug server standard.

El consumo de poder es muy bajo 5W. Y con un sistema operativo linux Debian, imagínense las cosas interesantes que pueden hacerse con este aparatito.
Cabe destacar que no posee teclado alguno ni, conexión a monitor.
Para acceder al servidor se puede hacer mediante ssh o con un JTAG a través de su puerto serie.
