Creamfields Argentina Sold Out!
Creamfields Buenos Aires reached a new record last weekend, selling out the already increased capacity festival. More than 35000 people attented the Latin American edition of the most important dance festival - Creamfields.
For more than 16 hours, the crowd heard excellent performances from more than 80 bands and djs from across the world.
Junkie XL’s live show on the Outdoor Stage was one of the main highlights of the night. With a setthat included some exclusive remixes and classic material from his album. Argentina's most important Latin band Babasonicos, didnt let the crowd down, pushing the crowd to fever pitch. As always, Argentina's favourite DJ, Hernan Cattaneo, didnt disappoint, performing in the Cream Arena, to a sea of people at sunrise, he performed without doubt the best set of the night. The 10,000 capacity Cream Arena remained full from start to finish, with warm ovations welcomed by the flying dutchman Sander Kleinenberg and the UK's Danny Howells, as they took to the pulpit to deliver perfect sets, in keeping with the day, keeping things tribal!.
Clubland South America Arena brought together the best techno and tech house djs from around the world. Including: Carl Carig and Layo & Bushwacka!, who over the years have built an outstanding fanbase in South America.
Around midnight, over in the Camel Genuine Sound Arena, the Audio Bullys Soundsystem was well underway. The duo conquered the crowd with tracks from their debut album, combining house and hip hop, they even waxed lyrical on the mic about their visit to Argentina! We think they'll be back.
As an alternative to the other dance Arenas, the newly added 'Alternative Beats Arena' was a big success. DJ Marka delivered an outstanding Drum&Bass set, a genre of music that is getting bigger by the weeks. Argentinian Trio band Catupeu Machu, combined rock and electronica for their exclusive Pentaphonc Show 5.1 show, which had been specially produced for the festival. Their performance created a warm up for another of South Americas favourite DJ disciples Zuker. He delivered an interesting new set format, which brought out his rock'ier side, adding drums and live percussion. The UK's Scratch Perverts showed their skills on the technics much to the joy of
the crowd!
The beat went on and the crowds relished it, even the downpour could'nt dampen the atmosphere of what has become THE party of the year - Creamfields Argentina we salute you!
